For Bangladesh to perform substantially Shakib has to click, his and the team’s success go hand in hand. He has experience, he has the class and even he is in form. So it’ll be interesting to see his all-round performances in the upcoming tournament. Mahmudullah, the right-handed batsman and a slow right arm bowler is also seen providing all round performances in recent days.

Reserves: Nasser Hossain, Naeem Islam

Though mainly considered an all-rounder, The 22 years old slow right arm bowler, Nasser Hussain, will more likely focusing on his bowling. He is capable of being economical and building pressure in the middle part of opposition’s innings. Bangladesh would be a happy bowling unit if Nasser delivers some tight overs. Naeem Islam, the other all-round option, is mainly a batting all-rounder. In the 59 ODIs where he has represented his nation, Islam has a decent average of 27 and strike rate of 66.66.
