4. Desmond Haynes (West Indies) v India in 1983
An year later, in 1983 in a Test match at Mumbai, West Indian legend who scored 18 Test centuries in his career, Desmond Haynes, was given out handling the ball when he was batting on 55. Kapil Dev was the bowler. Yet again, the ball was moving towards the stumps after hitting the pads of the batsman; Haynes knocked the ball away and was given out. Haynes refused to go and the umpires had to ask the bowler if he wanted to take his appeal back. Kapil Dev refused to do so and Haynes had to leave.
