Batsmen with most centuries in IPL
6. Shane Watson (RR) – 2
While many were puzzled as to why Shane Watson was leading the Rajasthan Royals squad and not Steve Smith, come the big match (virtual quarter-final) and Watson was ready to take his team to a total they could possibly defend against a strong KKR batting line. Watto faced 59 balls throughout the innings, as he stayed on from the first ball to the last of the innings. He sized 9 boundaries and as many as 5 sixes in his knock of 104*, one of the best that we have seen in the IPL. This is the second time that Watson has hit a hundred in the IPL. CSK were at the receiving end last time around when the Aussie all-rounder hit 101 in the 2013 season of the league.
