Batsmen with Most International hundreds in a Win: Scoring a century is always a bigger achievement in cricket, so is winning a match. When both these virtues combine it makes it an even bigger reward for the player, scoring a century in a Won match. Centuries are not always enough to win matches. His batting style, his form, his shots, his aura has been unmatchable in the game. De Villiers has thus far scored 44 centuries in his international career out of which 34 have come in matches that his team has won; which further goes on to show the success rate of his knocks. 4. Run-scoring at will, charging against the bowler, hitting freely out of the park, batting for long hours and dominating the opposition are the prime characteristics of this talented lad, Kumar. The lad has won 34 matches by scoring a century and is 4th on the all-time list. 2. Sachin Tendulkar (India) – 53: Sachin Tendulkar stays at 2nd position in the list with 53 centuries in won international matches. The man features in every record list that may be generated on batting in cricket and here too, he makes a Top 2 Entry in our list. Having scored a century of centuries, 53 of Sachin Tendulkar’s international hundreds have come in Wins. He is second on the list of ‘Most Centuries in matches Won’. A slap back at some of his haters who always created a negative propaganda that Tendulkar’s century always went to India’s loss. 1. Ricky Ponting (Australia) – 55: Ricky Ponting tops the list here with 55 international centuries in won matches. Ricky Ponting appeared on the international scene with a huge hype of being the best in Australia’s domestic circuit and since the start of his career till the end; he stamped his authority like a boss. There wasn’t a single time in his career that he was dropped due to bad form or a lean patch. Be it a batsman or as Captain, Ricky Ponting always stepped up and gave his best.
