Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes, the 6th and the 7th placed teams in the points table, will take on each other tomorrow in BBL 7. It will be an interesting match-up as the two teams have not had a great time in the tournament so far and both are desperate to add some points to their points tally and move up in the standings.
While the Hurricanes have made a bit of a comeback after losing their first two games consecutively, the Sixers are yet to open their account in terms of the number of points and are sitting at the penultimate position in the points table just above the Melbourne Stars who are also winless so far.

Sydney Sixers
The good news for the Sixers is that one of their big overseas signings Collin Munro who is arguably the best T20 batsman going around right now has joined the squad and he will be playing tomorrow. Munro already has three T20 international hundreds to his name and his arrival will add a lot of weight to the Sixers’ batting which otherwise has failed to impress.
Sean Abbott and Johan Botha, the two senior-most bowlers of the Sixers, have not quite hit their straps and that is proving to be costly for them as the bowling group as a whole seems to be struggling. The management will want these two experienced blokes to pull their socks and come up with a good display tomorrow.
Predicted XI: Jos Butler, Kurtis Patterson, Shane Watson, Callum Ferguson, Ben Rohrer, Arjun Nair, Aiden Blizzard, Clive Green, Mitchell McClenaghan, Fawad Ahmed, Andrew Fekete.
Hobart Hurricanes
The opening batsman D’Arcy Short has been the man behind the Hurricanes’ turnaround. The left-hander has played two sensational knocks at the top of the order and has helped his team post a big total on the board which have been defended by the bowlers.
Short has been unlucky as he could easily have completed his hundred on both the occasions, but missed the landmark by 3 and 4 runs respectively in the two games. The 27-year-old will be eyeing another big one against the Sixers and will be hoping to cross the three-figure mark this time around.
Predicted XI: Alex Doolan, D’Arcy Short, Ben McDermott, George Bailey, Dan Christian, Matthew Wade, Jofra Archer, Cameron Boyce, Clive Rose, Tymal Mills, Aaron Summers.
We believe the Hobart Hurricanes will defeat the Sydney Sixers in this game.
