The Hobart Hurricanes and the Adelaide Strikers will face each other in Match 31 of Big Bash League (BBL) 7 tomorrow at the Adelaide Oval. This will be an opportunity for the Strikers to displace the Perth Scorchers from the top of the points table. If they beat Hurricanes, they will equalize the points’ tally of the Scorchers and since they have a better net run rate, they will get to the top position, but beating Hurricanes in the kind of form they are in is quite an uphill task. George Bailey’s team has won 5 in a row and is playing some top class cricket at the moment.
Here’s what we, at CricTracker predict will be the final result-
Scenario 1: Hobart Hurricanes win the toss

Hobart Hurricanes
There is nothing much to choose between the two teams on paper, but considering recent form, the Hurricanes look to be the favourites. Momentum is such a key thing in T20 cricket and they are carrying positive momentum with themselves. Everything seems to be coming together for them and they are just finding a way to drag the result in their favour every time.
D’Arcy Short is, of course, leading the way with the bat, but the others are contributing too. Ben McDermott is hitting the ball pretty cleanly down the order and Jofra Archer with the ball has been another stand-out performer.
Predicted XI: Alex Doolan, D’Arcy Short, George Bailey (C), Daniel Christian, Ben McDermott, Matthew Wade, Simon Milenko, Jofra Archer, Cameron Boyce, Clive Rose, Tymal Mills
Adelaide Strikers
The Strikers had a pretty mediocre last game against the Scorchers where they were bundled out for just 112, but they would like to think that it was just an aberration in what has proved to be a wonderful campaign for them. They have some real X-factors in their line-up, none bigger than the Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan who has turned quite a few games with his crucial breakthroughs in the middle overs.
Colin Ingram has taken over the captaincy in the absence of the regular skipper Travis Head who is away on national duty and he will want to lead the team from the front by scoring big. The South African left-hander has been in good form of late.
Predicted XI: Alex Carey, Jake Weatherald, Colin Ingram (C), Jonathan Wells, Jake Lehmann, Jonathon Dean, Michael Neser, Rashid Khan, Peter Siddle, Ben Laughlin, Bily Stanlake
We believe the Hobart Hurricanes will emerge victorious against the Adelaide Strikers in this game.
