BCCI announces India home schedule for 2019-20 season
The schedule is planned from September 2019 to March 2020.

Over the last few months, all the talks surrounding Team India have been regarding the 2019 edition of the World Cup in England and Wales. Be it India’s number four conundrum, Virat Kohli’s batting position, KL Rahul’s selection or the choice of the bowlers in English conditions, all the analysis and speculations were made on the Men in Blue’s campaign at the mega event.
After playing a couple of warm-up matches against Bangladesh and New Zealand, Kohli and Co are all set to play their first match of the tournament on June 5 against South Africa at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. India’s marquee clash against Pakistan is on June 16 at the Old Trafford in Machester. The extravaganza will take place until July 14 and there’s time left for it.
India’s upcoming schedule
In the meantime, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has put forth the schedule for the team’s home matches in the 2019-20 season. The schedule is planned from September 2019 to March 2020. The Men in Blue will start their home campaign against South Africa following which they will host Bangladesh and the Windies in the dying stages of 2019.
India’s campaign in 2020 starts with a three-match T20 series against Zimbabwe followed by a three-match ODI series against the mighty Australians. South Africa will play three One Day Internationals in India in March 2020.
