Earlier on Monday, India were knocked out of ongoing Twenty20 Tri-series after Australia handed the hosts their third successive defeat in Mumbai. In all the defeats, the common point for India remained their failure to take their momentum to the middle overs after solid opening partnerships. Their bowling too proved to be expensive against the batswomen of both sides.
Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also went on to say, “We need fit players in the team and I would suggest this to the team management as well from next series.”With both England and Australia topping the table with four points each, the two sides are set to face England in the final summit clash.
