Former Indian coach Anil Kumble has received all his pending dues from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) post his exit from the helm of Indian cricket. As per the recent reports, Kumble was paid approximately INR 1 crore that marked the clearance of all pending dues. The BCCI made the disclosure of the same on their official website recently.

They had to make the disclosure following their practice of disclosing all the payment transactions made in excess of INR 25 lakh. Among other transactions made by the BCCI, Indian pacer Ishant Sharma also received his pending dues of INR 1 crore.
Also, the board gave away INR 45 lakh each to all the members of the India Women’s team who recently emerged as the finalists of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017. In addition to these payment releases, the board also gave away the one time benefit payment, which amounts to INR 35 lakh each, to the former cricketers. Among the beneficiaries of this scheme were former players Vivek Razdan, Sarandeep Singh, Salil Ankola, Reetinder Sodhi, Robin Singh, and Yograj Singh.
Kumble saga
Commenting on the infamous Anil Kumble saga, the former coach had to make an unceremonious exit from his post after the conclusion of the ICC Champions Trophy. Kumble abruptly stepped down from the post after the tournament concluded. The primary reason behind this was revealed by him in a note that he addressed to the fans and the media on the social media.
He had conceded that his management style did not go down well with the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Due to this, he felt that it was in the best interest of the Indian team to seek a new coach who fits the bill as per the wishes of the captain. Former cricketer Ravi Shastri was subsequently elected as the new head coach of the Indian team.
