India is currently playing their first Test match of the home season against South Africa. It looks like everything is going in favor of the hots. During the toss, India won an important toss and elected to bat, after that there was quite a tension among the fans over the performance of the openers. In past India have tried quite a few players for this position like Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, and Murali Vijay but no experiment paid off, and this time selectors had opted out for Rohit Sharma for the first time in Test for this slot in the Team.

The first hour of the match was crucial for hosts, but when the openers started settling down on the pitch with their willow, the atmosphere of the dressing room started changing. Indian batsmen jointly posted a score of 202 without any loss. Rohit Sharma got his maiden century as an opener in Tests whereas young Mayank Agarwal had got 84 runs and was supporting his senior partner very decently before the game of the day called off due to rain.

Virat Kohli, Umesh Yadav, and Kuldeep Yadav caught in the eyes of the camera

During the ongoing Test match, when the openers were on the field, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was caught on camera with his teammate Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav. Kohli was emulating some funny posture which was later released from the official account of BCCI with a caption, “When you know you are in a good position at the moment. Caption this #TeamIndia #INDvSA.

When the video came out on social media, the fans gave a berserk reaction to it and compared the actions of Kohli with sacred games’ “Aham Brahmasmi” posture.

Here is the video

The hosts dominated the Proteas in their last series against them by defeating them by 3-0 which came in 2015-16. Indian Team is currently topping the Test Championship table with 120 points in the league table followed by New Zealand and Sri Lanka with 60 points on the 2nd and 3rd position. South Africa has not featured in any Test series since the Test championship came into the picture.
