BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya will himself monitor Virat Kohli’s on-field behavior: Virat Kohli’s aggressive attitude has always made headlines. This time the Indian test captain is under the scanner of BCCI President Jagmohan Dalmiya.

When he was asked for his reaction on the manner in which Kohli has been carrying his attitude on and off the field, including the dirty interaction he had with a senior HT journalist during the world cup 2015 Jagmohan Dalmiya was quoted by Hindustan Times saying, “Well, it (Kohli’s outbursts) has to be examined and whatever corrective measures are needed will have to be taken, I’m not brushing it aside, but I’m not saying all is well either.”

The BCCI president said there was no need to talk loud about it but at the same time he is himself keeping an eye on Kohli’s on-field behavior since he is now India’s test skipper, “He would himself monitor the new Test captain before deciding whether action needed to be taken over his attitude. Why talk about it? If something has to be done, I will do it. Simply talking about it could seem like a failure.” Dalmiya said.

Kohli had recently also lashed out on his critics stating that they should be “ashamed of themselves” and “no one has won more matches”.

Kohli had received a warning from BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur for his irresponsible behavior. Despite making him realize his mistake, he is yet to give an apology for his unexplainable behavior.
