Australia cricketer Ben Cutting and Erin Holland are in a relationship for a long time now. They were due to get married this year but the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their plans. However, the couple has decided to invest a whopping $1.2 million (approximately INR 8.9 crore) on a two-bedroom luxury apartment in Sydney’s Coogee.

Cutting has played 4 T20Is and 7 ODIs for Australia and has been a T20 freelancer over the last few years. He also played for the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last few seasons in the Indian Premier League (IPL). On the other hand, Erin is a former Miss World Australia and also worked as an anchor for MI during one of the IPL seasons when Cutting was playing for the franchise.

Coming back to the couple’s first investment, Erin Holland stated that they were willing to enter the property market during these COVID times. “We were always looking to enter the Sydney market at some point this year and were happy to invest during COVID while there was less competition,” she said while speaking to the Daily Telegraph.

Ben Cutting sold his home in Brisbane last year

Ben Cutting and Erin Holland’s investment in new luxurious home comes after they sold their stunning home in Brisbane’s Cannon Hill for a whopping amount of $1.6 million last year. The cricketer also bought a block of land three years ago for $530,000 and built a beautiful four-bedroom Hamptons-Style home.

The new home is located at a short distance from Coogee beach, a happy place for the couple. “We are both beach kids at heart, me being from Cairns and Ben spending plenty of his childhood at Burleigh Beach,” Erin further added.

As far as their wedding plans are concerned, Ben and Erin were supposed to get hitched in June this year. But they have postponed it due to pandemic, and the latter is in no mood to forego the celebration for the sake of COVID-19.”I didn’t want to forego that big celebration I envisioned my entire life for my wedding. I’m ready to wait until we know family and friends are safely under the same roof,” she had said last month.
