7. Ravichandran Ashwin (India)
R Ashwin may not have played a T20I match for the Men in Blue since 2017, but he has been a regular feature in the Indian Premier League and will turn out for Delhi Capitals in the 2020 edition of the world’s most popular T20 league. Ashwin has also captained Kings XI Punjab in the league for two years.
Meanwhile, he might be picked to give the team a proper spinner who can pick wickets and increase pressure on the opposition batsmen. He has more than necessary variations in his kitty and is not afraid to use it in matches. More so, he may very well use unconventional methods to get wickets s well.
Ashwin’s record is stellar with 235 wickets in 232 T20 matches with the best bowling of 4/8 and has an economy of 6.88. He also has 52 wickets in 46 T20I matches for the Indian team.’
