The year 2015 witnessed the carnival of One-day International cricket, the World Cup, and as it happened Australia won its 5th title and ended the year as the number 1 ranked ODI team. But, the Asian teams- India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan all had a decent year in this format of the game. Here we form the best Asian ODI XI of the year 2015.

The Sri Lankan opener is going all guns blazing despite being 38 years of age and is the only player left from the golden age of Sri Lankan cricket. In the year 2015, he scored 1207 runs in just 25 innings and had an average of 52.47. His highest score of the year came against Bangladesh in the ICC World Cup 2015, when he made 161* Dilshan carried the same blasting form throughout the year.
