Imran Tahir:
It was a tournament that witnessed the leg-spinners dominate. Imran Tahir proved his class again in the shortest format and bowled brilliantly for South Africa. His 1/28 in 4 overs against was an exceptional spell on a belter at Wankhede. He followed it up with 2/24 against the Afghans at the same venue. At Nagpur his 2/13 against the Windies turned a one-sided contest into a thrilling one. He finished the tournament with a spell of 1/18 against Sri Lanka. His economy rate was 5.18 which is exceptional for this format.
