'Bhai please do watch Chhichhore' - Irfan Pathan remembers his last meeting with Sushant Singh Rajput

Prominent Bollywood actor and television star Sushant Singh Rajput left everyone in shock with his sudden demise. Sushant committed suicide on Sunday and he was found hanging at his Bandra residence, according to reports.

The 34-year-old gained fame with television as he started his acting career with TV shows. He was popular for his role in popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta. Eventually, he paved his way into Bollywood and delivered acclaimed performances like movies like Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK, Kedarnath and Chhichhore.

Twitter erupted after learning about the sudden demise of the actor and condolences poured in for the Bollywood actor. One of the best roles of Sushant’s career was his portrayal of MS Dhoni in his biopic. Sushant had gained many accolades for delivering a stellar performance in the movie.

Many cricket stars condoled the death of Sushant Singh Rajput

Many cricketers including Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh condoled the demise of Sushant. Many cricketers like Suresh Raina were closely associated with Sushant during the making of MS Dhoni’s biopic.

Along with many other cricketers, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan also mourned the death of Sushant. Irfan expressed his grief and shock over Twitter and also revealed the incident when he had a chat with the actor.

Irfan revealed that he had praised Sushant for his work in Kedarnath after meeting him. In response, Sushant had suggested Irfan to watch his latest movie Chhichhore. Chhichhore garnered success, both critically and financially at the Box Office. The movie collected over INR 200 crores and was a massive hit.

“I’m deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the suicide of #SushantSinghRajput my heart goes out for his family,” tweeted Irfan.

“I chatted with him last at the Taj Hotel Gym, I praised him for his work in Kedarnath & his reply was ‘Bhai please do watch chhichhore’ you will love it!” he added.

The news of Sushant’s death came just a week after his former manager’s death. The actor’s ex-manager Disha Salian committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor from her apartment in Mumbai.
