Virat Kohli produced a masterly display with the willow in the 1st innings of the 3rd Test match against the South African side. The 33-year-old batting legend scored a valuable 79 and helped India post a total of 223 runs on the board.
The ‘Barmy Army’ is an ‘army’ of England supporters who vociferously support the England cricket team wherever they go. And, the Barmy Army has taken a dig at Kohli in the past as well.
And now, the ‘Bharat Army’, a group of Indian fans have taken to Twitter to take a dig at the Barmy Army to highlight the Barmy Army’s obsession with Kohli, when their own team, England has put up a poor performance in The Ashes. The caption of the tweet simply read ‘No context’. You can see the tweet from the Bharat Army below.

England have experienced a miserable run in The Ashes against Australia
The England side has been hammered by Australia in the Ashes series. After 4 Test matches, the scoreline reads 3-0 in favour of Australia. The Aussies thrashed England in the 1st Test match at Brisbane by 9 wickets.
In the 2nd Test too, England were totally outplayed and went down to their opponents by 275 runs. In the 3rd Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), England were once again battered by an innings and 14 runs.
England however showed a lot of character in the 4th Test match in Sydney and clung on to a nerve-wrenching draw. Jonny Bairstow put up a stellar show with the willow for his side with a classy century in the 1st innings.
On the other hand, the three-match Test series between India and South Africa is currently level at 1-1. India drew first blood in the 1st Test match and thrashed the Proteas by 113 runs. The Protean side stormed back in the 2nd rubber and beat the visitors by 7 wickets to square the series. And, the winner of the 3rd and final Test match at Cape Town will win the series between these two outfits.
