India skipper Virat Kohli is currently enjoying his time off from the hustle and bustle of international cricket. The 31-year old was playing non-stop cricket since the start of this year and deserved a break to rejuvenate himself. As a result of the break, Kohli is missing the ongoing three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.
In his absence, Rohit Sharma has been leading the team. It, however, did not take long for the team to miss Kohli as Bangladesh stunned them in Delhi. Bangladesh beat India by seven wickets to take the lead in the three-match series. The win also ended India’s winning streak against Bangladesh in T20Is as the Men in Blue lost a T20I to the Tigers for the first time.
Kohli, nonetheless, continues to remain in the news despite staying away from all the ongoing action. And one of the reasons for it was his birthday earlier this week. The India batting star turned 31 on Tuesday and was flooded with birthday messages from all across the globe. Kohli is arguably the most popular cricketer in the world right now and the adulation he received on his birthday pretty much proves that.
At just 31, Kohli has already earned nothing short of legendary status in the game. He has already broken and created a plethora of records and looks set to continue the spree for years to come.
Virat Kohli gets trolled
Despite his achievements on the field, even Virat Kohli is not spared by fans when he commits a gaffe on social media. The India skipper was recently trolled for his tweet to his India teammate Suresh Raina. It all started when Raina wished Kohli on his birthday. Hours later, Kohli also took to Twitter to thank Raina for his message,
However, the Delhi batsman seemed to have made a gaffe while replying to the tweet as he called Raina Bhavesh, writing, “Thanks Bhavesh”
Thanks Bhavesh

And the tweet was enough for the fans to jump into action and troll Kohli for the same. While some fans were amused with the tweet, thinking that Kohli made a mistake, some were busy wondering about the reason behind Kohli calling Raina Bhavesh.
Here are some of the reactions:
