Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee got engaged back in 2009 and then entered wedlock in 2012. In 2014, the couple gave birth to Zoravar Dhawan. Zoravar has been blessed with the traits of his father, who prefers to dictate terms to the opposition bowlers. Zoravar is also known for his playful character. During this year’s IPL, Shikhar posted a picture along with his son.
He captained the same with a caption, which read as” Kabhie toh koi baat maan liyaa kar bhai [listen to me sometimes at least].” It also displays the strong bonding between Shikhar and Zoravar. Recently, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the Indian pacer, reminisced an incident, where he along with his better-half Nupur Nagar and Zoravar were sharing lighthearted moments.
“She is my wife”- Zoravar
In a chat show named What the Duck 3, hosted by comedian Vikram Sathaye, Bhuvi reminded how Zoravar reverted with a strong reply when the fast-bowler tried to interrupt in between Dhawan’s son humorous interaction with wife Nupur.
“His [Dhawan’s] child is super active and playful unlike many other kids. Zoravar is not at all shy, once when he was playing with my wife Nupur, I told him sternly that she was my wife and that he shouldn’t mess with her. He in-turn raised his voice and said, ‘she is my wife, she can be your wife on Sundays’, ” Bhuvneshwar was quoted as saying by Mid-Day.
Both Shikhar and Bhuvneshwar have a strenuous schedule ahead of them. India will play three T20Is and as many ODIs in England, which starts from tomorrow at the Old Trafford in Manchester. They also plied their trade in the recently concluded T20I series versus Ireland and will be looking to replicate their form under tying conditions in the English series as well.
