The Indian captain Virat Kohli has taken a forced break from international cricket like every other cricketer. The coronavirus pandemic has not allowed any international cricket matches to be played from March. During this period of lockdown, Kohli has been spending his time with his wife and Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma. The duo lives in Mumbai in their lavish house.

On Thursday, Kohli posted a photo of him showing how he is spending his time at home. He uploaded the picture on his official Instagram handle. In the photo, he can be seen reading a book while enjoying the weather as he experienced his first proper Mumbai monsoon.

He also wrote in the caption, “Great weather in Mumbai. Sitting out enjoying the beginning of my first proper experience of Mumbai monsoon. Couldn’t be a better time to start reading something.”

David Warner takes a funny jibe at Virat Kohli’s grey beard

Like every other photo which Kohli uploads on his social media, this one too got viral. In a few minutes, all his fans started posting comments and liking the picture. However, the comment which stole the limelight was from Australian cricketer David Warner. Another comment came from Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers.

While the former South African batsman de Villiers posted a simple comment, calling Kohli as “sophisticated”, Warner took a small jibe at the Indian skipper. He told the Indian batsman to notice a bit of grey in his bread, which is something clearly an old man’s thing. “Bit of grey in that beard young feller @virat.kohli,” Warner wrote as a comment on Kohli’s post.

Had cricket been continuing in the normal way, we would have seen Kohli fighting out for the RCB to win the IPL. However, at this moment it is unclear when will we see him back on the field. India has cancelled their scheduled tours of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. BCCI has announced that the board is looking host the IPL sometime in the September and November window.

However, Kohli has been training indoors to maintain his physical fitness in check. The skipper has often shared videos and images of his fitness regimes.
