2. RCB Vs. CSK at Bangalore, 2012:
This match has went down as perhaps one of the most twisting games in the history of IPL. Opting to bat first, RCB posed a threatening target of 206 runs for CSK to chase on a batting paradise at the Chinnaswamy stadium, courtesy of the big Jamaican, who smashed a blistering knock of 68 runs off just 35 deliveries. To add to the twist, 5 wickets fell in for RCB in the last 7 deliveries of their innings. In reply, CSK looked to be threatening right from the start by the aid of a thunderous innings from Faf du Plessis to set up the mood. But with 43 runs required off the last 2 overs, things looked pretty much out of reach for CSK when Albie Morkel brought the twist in favour of CSK. He smacked young Kohli for 28 runs (3 sixes and 2 fours) in the 19th with 15 runs required off the last over, it was Bravo’s turn to act, which was followed by a match winning boundary by Ravindra Jadeja to put a final nail to the RCB coffin.
Match Summary – RCB: 205/8 in 20 overs (Gayle 68, A Morkel 2/37)
CSK – 208/5 in 20 overs (Du Plessis 71, Muralitharan 3/21)
