3. CSK Vs. RCB at Chennai, 2008:

It was yet another thrilling encounter between CSK and RCB and the low scoring essence added to it’s cause. Batting first, RCB struggled to find their momentum and were restricted to a score of only 126 in their full quota of 20 overs. After encountering a blistering start to their innings, CSK were poised at 60/0 at the end of 9 overs, courtesy of a destructive yet sensible start from the CSK opening pair. But things started to mould since then and RCB got back their confidence to make a comeback. Wickets kept falling and a lethal spinning spell from spin legend Anil Kumble secured victory for the visitors. CSK were restricted to only 112. It was perhaps one of the lowest scores successfully defended till date.
Match Summary – RCB: 126/8 in 20 overs (Rahul Dravid 47, A Morkel 4/32)
CSK: 112/8 in 20 overs (S Fleming 45, Anil Kumble 3/14)
