CricTracker grows by leaps and bounds in 2021, best since inception

CricTracker, ever since its launch, has become the one-stop destination for cricket fans. It not only provides cricket news, reviews and previews, but CricTracker also gives a sneak-peek into cricketers’ day-to-day lives. The infotainment website has been growing constantly each year and the numbers in 2021 when compared to 2020 have been simply sensational. CT boasts of a massive following on social media and the followers only grew in the last one year or so. In 2020, 13.1 million fans followed the brand and the number grew up to 15.1 million in 2021. Also, the content on social media platforms reached millions of fans with a massive 94% growth in 2021. In terms of delivering the content to the audience, the editorial team worked hard to publish 24% more stories compared to 2020. In 2020, 16,991 articles were published on the website and the count reached 21,111 in 2021 which only shows the strength of the team. Not only has the story count increased but the overall traffic on the website has also grown a lot. There was a more than decent 46% growth in traffic while the unique users on the website also increased from 40 million in 2020 to 73 million in 2021. The expansion of the video team also worked wonders in the last 12 months with as many as 4,519 videos getting published and subsequently, CT experienced 41% growth in views as well. Moreover, CricTracker also introduced two new properties, CT Hindi and CT Bengali, last year and have gained a lot of traction among regional fans too. All this was possible thanks to a team of 55 hard-working people, the count which increased from 18 in 2020. Increase in content delivery in every department also meant that it reached a lot of countries. CT is now gaining global presence with cricketing fans across more than 100 countries consuming the content. Another main aspect CricTracker grew in over the course of the last two years was international partnerships. There were watchalong sessions with experts during the SL vs IND series and India’s matches of T20 World Cup 2021. Moreover, CricTracker was delighted to join hands with Zambia T10 League, Vanuatu Blast T10 League, and Qatar T10 as a live streaming partner and with T10 League and Taipei T10 League as highlights partner.
