CricTracker joins Zim Afro T10 as Media Partner
CricTracker will provide cricket aficionados with extensive coverage of the exhilarating league on its website and social media handles.
CricTracker is elated to announce its partnership with Zim Afro T10 league as the media partner for the ongoing season which commenced on Saturday, September 21. In the past, CricTracker has had successful associations with leagues like Saurashtra Premier League (SPL), Abu Dhabu T10 League.
Zim Afro T10, a league-cum-knockout tournament organised in Zimbabwe, has teams from South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Nigeria as participants. Launched in 2023 in association with Zimbabwe Cricket, the first edition was held in July. Durban Qalandars (now Durban Wolves) won the final by beating Jo'Burg Buffaloes (now Jo'Burg Bangla Tigers) by eight wickets.
Like last season, all the games this year will be held at the Harare Sports Club. While five teams competed last year, this year there are six teams battling it out for the coveted silverware. A total of 600 players from 23 cricketing nations participated in the draft and Zimbabwean skipper Sikandar Raza was the first pick.
The top four teams at the end of the round-robin phase of the tournament will be making it to the playoffs. The teams which finish in the top two will battle it out in Qualifier 1 on September 28. Later on the same day, teams placed at No. 3 and No. 4 will lock horns in the Eliminator. Subsequently, the loser of Qualifier 1 will face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2. The summit clash is set to be played on Sunday, September 29.
CricTracker is set to bring all the latest updates, scores, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes moments from the league to the fans across the website and its social media channels.
