As the Indian Premier League nears the final league games, the competition is getting tougher and interesting. The fans are left thinking as to which teams are going to make it into the playoffs of the tournament. Last night, it was Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore who kept their chances wide open after a victory over the table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Cricket fans enjoyed the battle between the side which saw South African batsman go all-bonkers along with English man, Moeen Ali. IPL has made even the top Bollywood stars stick to their TV sets during the match. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is a huge cricket fan who witness the epic game between the two sides which went down the wire after Kane Williamson kept the team in the hunt for the massive run chase.

Ranveer Singh praises AB de Villiers and Kane Williamson

The Bollywood actor took Twitter to talk about the win. Singh praised the performance of the RCB, especially of AB de Villiers who played a superb knock of 69 runs in just 39 deliveries. It seemed that Singh was happy for the fact that RCB are still in the race of the playoffs and added that IPL without King Kohli may not look good.

The 32-year old actor also praised the Sunrisers Hyderabad for not giving up during the run chase. Ranveer felt that Kane Williamson has to be the MVP (Most Valued Player) of the tournament.

Earlier in the evening, batting first, RCB posted a massive total of 218 runs with the help of spectacular innings from AB de Villiers and Moeen Ali. Collin de Grandhomen and Sarfaraz Khan too added useful runs in the final overs. Chasing the total, Kane Williamson led the batting side yet again with another half-century while Pandey gave him a great company. The duo added 135 runs but eventually fell short of the total by 14 runs.
