Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan opens up on her relationship rumours with KL Rahul

KL Rahul, the young Indian cricketer who has been struggling with his scoring abilities in the recent past. The days are not going well for the cricketer who had been left out of the Indian Test squad of late but still finds his place in the limited-overs squad, which is going to play a three-match T20I series against South Africa.

The Indian batsman finds himself in a tough situation on the field but also remains in the spotlight over his relations with Indian actresses in media. In recent past, Rahul’s name has been linked with several Bollywood divas but he always remained tight-lipped over his relationship status.

Earlier there were rumors that the 27-year-old was dating actress Nidhi Agerwal and Alia Bhatt’s bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. There were also reports, earlier in May 2019, that the Indian top-order batsman was in a relationship with another Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan.

Recently, when Sonal Chauhan was asked about Rahul, she told Bollywood Bubble, “No, not at all. He is a very good cricketer. He is very talented and a nice guy.” Last year in an episode of Koffee With Karan, Rahul along with his Indian teammate Hardik Pandya had landed in a controversy over their offensive comments, which led to a major backlash with the two even handed a provisional ban by the Committee of Administrators (CoA) and were also fined in order to curtail the controversy.

BCCI ombudsman DK Jain after their statements on the popular TV show had directed both the players to pay Rs 1,00,000 each to families of 10 constables in para-military forces who lost their lives on duty. During the criticism of KL Rahul the popular actress Preity Zinta, who also co-owns Kings XI Punjab team in the IPL, praised Rahul who is very respectful towards women.

“It is so good to see Rahul back in form. He is a very nice guy. What happened is in the past. I just feel bad about the way the whole thing turned out but you live and learn. Actually, he is very sweet and respectful towards women, so I don’t know how it all came out.” said the popular actress had said as quoted by India Today.
