'Bournvita is working on your cheeks' - Yuvraj Singh trolls Rohit Sharma on Twitter

Rohit Sharma, the right-handed Indian opener has become one of the most vital players of Team India, who is consistently performing well across all the formats. He is currently recovering from his calf injury that he sustained during the T20I series against New Zealand, and he is soon expected to mark his comeback into competitive cricket.

The dashing Indian opener is busy working with some of the brands and Rohit recently shared a clip of an advertisement featuring him on social media. Later on, Yuvraj Singh, the former Indian cricketer took a hilarious jibe at the opener.

Rohit is in smashing form with the bat since World Cup 2019 as he is playing in the form of his life. It doesn’t matter if its home or away he has proved in every difficult situation with the help of his willow. Even, the 32-year-old left his own skipper Virat Kohli in terms of making most runs in the concluded year.

He mustered 1490 runs in 28 games at an average of 57.30. He continued with his influential form in the shorter format where Rohit mustered 396 runs in 14 games at a strike rate of 138.66. It was a lucky year for the Mumbai batsman, who successfully managed to revive his career in the longer format in a home Test series against South Africa as he scored 556 runs in six innings at an average of 92.67 with the help of one double-ton and two centuries.

Recently he shared a clip of his advertisement with Bournvita in which he can be spotted telling about the best inning of his life. And it is not scoring runs on the field but the things that he learned throughout his life. He also gave a caption to his post that read, “I am here to talk about my most important inning. It’s not the one where I’ve scored the most runs. I hope that with this initiative, kids and parents alike will learn to give importance to learning and #LookBeyondMarks @BournvitaIndia.”

As soon as this post came under the radar of Yuvraj Singh, he quickly responded by trolling the opener saying, “Looks like the Bournvita is working on your cheeks.” It was visible in the clip that Rohit Sharma was looking a bit chubby. So, the former World Cup winner was nowhere behind pulling his former teammate.
