3. Tim Southee v Pakistan in 2010:

Tim Southee became the second player from New Zealand to scalp a hat-trick in T20Is. Playing against Pakistan at Auckland, Southee tormented the Pakistan top order to complete this achievement. In the 8th over of the match, Southee got the priced wicket of Younis Khan. The batsmen had crossed over and a settled Mohammad Hafeez took strike. Southee got the better of him to get past his outside edge as keeper McGlashan completed the catch. Umar Akmal was the new man in, and Southee trapped him right in front of the stumps to complete his lucky trio. Overall he had an exceptional outing in the game as he picked up a five-wicket haul.

Southee’s spell: 4-1-18-5
