The Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise has not only become an overnight blockbuster but has also become a trendsetter with star cricketers including the likes of David Warner, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shikhar Dhawan seen mimicking the Tollywood star on several occasions.
The trend has also gone upward in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) where a Bangladeshi bowler Nazmul Islam Apu was seen getting the act right after picking up a wicket in a recent league game between Fortune Barishal and Sylhet Sunrisers and now, a veteran player has also joined the party and he is none other than Dwayne Bravo.
DJ Bravo had earlier shared a video of him dancing to the song dubbed “Pushpa Walk”, but this time, he has paid tribute to Allu Arjun yet again on the cricket field.
Dwayne Bravo takes his Pushpa celebration to the next level
The retired West Indies cricketer hogged the limelight during a BPL game between Comilla Victorians and Fortune Barishal on Tuesday. On the penultimate ball of the 18th over, Bravo had bowled a length delivery on the middle and leg stump line as the wicketkeeper batter Mahidul Islam Ankon heaved one with the aim of clearing the fence. While he got the timing right, it failed to get the distance as Najmul Hossain Shanto completed a good catch in the deep. After picking up a vital wicket in the death overs, the two-time World Cup winner performed hook step of Allu Arjun from Srivalli song.

The Caribbean all-rounder has not been retained by the defending champions Chennai Super Kings ahead of the upcoming IPL 2022 mega auction and now it remains to be seen whether the four-time winners succeed in buying him at the action or he will be making an impact for a different franchise. The event will be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru.
Coming back to the ongoing BPL game, Bravo finished his spell with figures of 3/30 from his four overs at an economy rate of 7.50 as the Victorians ended their innings at 158/7 from their 20 overs and won the game by 63 runs.
