Brendon McCullum and Nathan McCullum are one of the very few siblings to have played for the national team together. New Zeland were blessed to have them in the team as the former went on to become their best wicketkeeper-batsman and the other was a brilliant off-spinner. Recently, Nathan lashed out at Jet Star Airlines for their poor service and in turn, was hilariously adviced by his brother Brendon. Even Jimmy Neesham jumped into the conversation to make it even funnier.

Both the brothers have hung their boots from international cricket. Nathan donned the New Zealand jersey in 84 One-Day Internationals and 63 T20Is during his 9-year international career. His youngster brother, however, is regarded as one of the legends in the country as he went on play 331 matches during his illustrious career. Moreover, the Kiwi team scaled more heights at the highest level under his inspired leadership.

Hilarious convo

Now coming back to their conversation on Twitter, Nathan blasted at Jet Star Airlines for their service. They had cancelled their flight twice in which his mother was travelling. “@Jetstar_NZ you are a shambles. My mum has had her flight cancelled twice in the last 24hours with and the service is ridiculously poor. This is not what NZ is known for!!!” he wrote in his tweet.

In response, his brother Brendon McCullum advised him to spent some more money and use Fly Air New Zealand who probably must be giving better service compared to other Airlines in the country. The official Twitter handle of Fly Air was thrilled to bits as they were appreciated by one of the best cricketers in the country. They promptly replied that they will be available to serve McCullum family whenever they need.

However, while replying they termed him as wicketkeeper. Brendon, nowadays, has given up on his duties behind the wickets and plays in different T20 leagues as a pure batsman. It was only apt for Jimmy Neesham to join the conversation as he replied, “Actually he’s not a WK anymore, just a batsman.”

Meanwhile, Nathan was quick to act on his brother’s advice and used Fly Air New Zealand and thanked the Airlines for their good service and help.
