Brett Lee to feature in 'Bhabhi ji Ghar Par Hain' TV show

Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee will be seen promoting his forthcoming his film “UnIndian” on the popular Indian comedy TV show “Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain!”.

The film “UnIndian” was released earlier in October 2015 but is yet to be released in India. IMDB has rated the film 7.4 out of 10 as it is expected to be a decent enough entertainer for the fans.

”Lee is one of the most admired cricketers in the world. Glad to hear he is coming on the sets of our show. I have heard that he plays the guitar beautifully, so I am hoping to hear him strum for me,” Saumya Tandon, who plays Anita in the show, said in a statement. The former Australian cricketer will shoot for the special episode on Wednesday.

The show will also feature Aashif Sheikh, Shubhangi Atre and Rohitash Gaud. The film “UnIndian” is directed by Anupam Sharma, also stars Tannishtha Chatterjee and Nicholas Brown among others. The film is slated to release on August 19 in India.

The 39-year old Lee’s connection with Indian music dates back to a decade ago. Along with the singer Asha Bhosle, he wrote a song named “You’re the one for me” during ICC Champions Trophy 2006. Some reports say that the fast bowlers wrote the song in 30 minutes, during a practice session.

Brett Lee played 221 One Day Internationals (ODIs), 76 Test matches and 25 T20 internationals (T20Is) for Australia and is expelled as an exponent of extreme speed. And bagged 380 ODI wickets, 310 Test wickets and 28 wickets in T20Is.
