Brett Lee reveals that he and wife Lana became parents 13 weeks ago

Brett Lee, the former Australian cricketer, has been married to Lana Anderson since 2014 after one year of dating. Lana is the retired speedster’s second wife after Elizabeth Kemp, to whom Lee was linked from 2006 to 2009. On Tuesday, September 24, he was revealed as the Parrot on Channel 10’s The Masked Singer and the 42-year-old made a revelation on the show.

Lee said that he welcomed his third child with better-half Lana a couple of months ago, 13 weeks to be precise. Lee already has an older son Preston, aged 12 with former wife Kemp. Being a ‘private person’, Lee didn’t even bother much about revealing the name of the baby.

“For me, I’m actually a very private person away from all this. So, I haven’t even told anyone the name,” Lee was quoted as saying in an interview with Now To Love.

Lee, the father-of-three talked about a hilarious incident about one of his children. He spoke about how his three-and-a-half-year-old daughter Helena watches him while he practices. Lee, who had a stint as a star in the Indian film industry, said that Helena recognized the Aussie Rock hit as ‘daddy’s song’ when the song came on the show.

“She knows all of the words and as soon as the song came on [last night], the first chord – she loves music, I play guitar for her all the time – and she knew it straight away. She said: ‘That’s daddy’s song!” the 42-year-old veteran added.

Lee said that his baby girl was a bit scared after the parrot’s head came off because she thought the bird died. The cricket legend explained how he was excited for the family to watch the episode. “When we watch it with our whole family, they’ll be going, “What?” I can’t wait until my parents see it. I cannot wait,” he stated.

Both of Lee’s older children have the knack of listening to music and Brett insisted that all households should have a piano. Even Preston is following his father’s footsteps in some way, playing the guitar. But Lee never pushes him to doing anything and rather gives him the freedom to chose on his career path.

Lee has worked with Asha Bhosle, the legendary Indian singer, in Bollywood. Back in 2015, he was also seen in a movie named ‘Unindian’. He was also a part of a band, named ‘Six and Out’ along with brother Shane Lee.
