2 time World Cup winner Clive Lloyd of West Indies won 15 games in World Cup history. They were undefeated in the 1975 and the 1979 editions until India beat them at Berbice in the 1983 World Cup meeting. Clive Lloyd is credited with making West Indies a major force in the world of cricket during the 1970s and the 1980s, where they were undefeated for almost 20 years in Test series.

New Zealand’s former skipper Stephen Fleming won 16 matches in World Cup history. He took New Zealand to semi-finals in 1999 and 2007 World Cups and to the super six stage in 2003 World Cup. One of the most inspirational captains in cricket, he turned around the fate of Kiwi cricket with his shrewdness and ability to lead from the front.

3 time World Cup winner and 2 time World Cup winning Captain Ricky Ponting of Australia won 26 matches in World Cup history and 24 of those matches were in a row. Australia won the 2003 and 2007 World cup undefeated in any of the matches under his captaincy, losing finally to Pakistan in 2011 World Cup group stage match. One the most aggressive and brilliant minded captain, Ricky Ponting retired form cricket in 2012.
