In the ongoing Big Bash League (BBL), he used a camel bat while playing for Adelaide Strikers. And, Sunrisers Hyderabad wants Rashid Khan to continue with the same in the upcoming IPL.

Rashid Khan introduces “The Camel bat”
On Sunday, Rashid Khan introduced a camel which hogged the limelight during a BBL game between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades. It was different from the other bats that are used by the players in the match as the bat was having a depression on its back and looked like a dent on the wooden sword. It also enhanced the stroke making for the leg spinner, who played a cameo of 25 runs off just 16 balls with two boundaries and two sixes.
Later on, Cricket Australia tweeted a picture of Rashid Khan’s bat with a caption that read, “They call it ‘The Camel’ Thoughts on @rashidkhan_19’s new style of the bat? #BBL09,”. After the Afghanistan spinner smashed the Renegades bowlers all across the park, Sunrisers Hyderabad wanted the player to carry it with him in the upcoming IPL season as well. The IPL franchise took to their Twitter handle and tweeted, “Carry it along for IPL 2020, @rashidkhan_19.”
Coming onto the game, Adelaide Strikers successfully managed to register their third consecutive win against winless Melbourne Renegades in Big Bash League 2019-20. Moreover, it helped Strikers in grabbing top position in the points table with seven points in four games.
