The Pulwama Attacks in Jammu and Kashmir have sent shock-waves in the whole of India. At least 44 CRPF jawans lost their lives. An SUV carrying 300 kgs explosives, rammed into a convoy, carrying the soldiers. The terrorist activity was carried out by Pakistan-based terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad and later they posted about the suicide-bomber, named Adil Ahmad Dar.

In the wake of the horrendous occurring, DSport has also stopped broadcasting the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The occurring has been condemned by many and a few websites have also taken down the live scorer of the tournament. In the meantime, Suresh Bafna, the secretary of the Cricket Club of India (CCI) has called for the boycott of the World Cup 2019 match between India and Pakistan.

The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 16 at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Bafna asked Imran Khan, the Honourable Pakistan Prime Minister, to come out with a clear statement on the matter. Furthermore, he mentioned that nothing is bigger than the country.

Imran Khan is not coming out openly

“We condemn the terror activities carried out against our army and CRPF personnel. Though CCI is a sporting association but nation comes first even before sports. He (Imran Khan) should respond. He is the Prime Minister and if he believes that Pakistan has no role to play in the attack then why is he not coming out openly.

He should come out openly. People should know the truth. He is not coming out openly which means that there are Stains in their folds,” Bafna was quoted as saying in NDTV Sports.

Following the attack, the CCI also covered the photo of Imran Khan at their Brabourne Stadium headquarters in Mumbai. “We called a meeting on the very next day of the attack and to condemn the attack, we decided to cover the photo. We’ll be deciding soon how to remove the photo,” he added.
