India scripted a great win in 2013 by going unbeaten in the tournament. Shikhar Dhawan was one of the main reasons they won the Champions Trophy that year as he scored quite a few runs up front. Dhawan is a fearless cricketer and he showed his class in 2013.

The left-hander scored 363 runs in 5 games at an average of 90. His strike was 101 which is impressive in One Day cricket. Dhawan also scored 2 centuries in the tournament making him the obvious choice for the player of the tournament award. He has been in and out of the team since then but outperformed every batter in this year’s Champions Trophy as well.
