Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule
The ninth edition of the Champions Trophy will begin on February 19 and conclude on March 9. The top eight ranked teams from the ODI World Cup 2023 will contest the tournament. Pakistan and the UAE will play as hosts for the marquee event.
Notably, Pakistan are the defending champions. They won the previous edition in 2017 by beating their arch-rivals, India, in the final. The Men in Green will be in action on the opening day of the tournament as they face New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi, in a Group A clash. India and Bangladesh are the other teams in this group. Meanwhile, Group B features Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa. The Afghans are set to make their debut in the global event.
Two teams are going to progress from each group and compete in the semi-finals. The last group-stage clash is going to be played on March 2 between India and New Zealand. Meanwhile, the semi-finals are going to be played on March 4 and 5, respectively. India's matches will be held in Dubai.
