Champions Trophy 2025 Most Centuries

The coveted Champions Trophy has long been a platform for the best international talent competition together. From its beginning in 1998 as the ICC Knockout Tournament to its being called the “Mini World Cup,” the tournament has seen numerous unforgettable performances, especially with the bat. Notably, the upcoming 2025 edition will begin on February 19, in Karachi.

Scintillating centuries from top batters have often turned the tide of crucial matches. Former India opener Shikhar Dhawan, who was known as a clutch player in the ICC events, has had a dominating performance in the Champions Trophy with 701 runs in just 10 matches, at an average of 77.88. During these games, the southpaw scored three centuries. In the 2013 edition, he earned the Player of the Tournament award as Team India lifted the trophy. Former South African opener Herschelle Gibbs across three editions (2002-2009), scored 460 runs at an average of 51.11, including three centuries.

India’s legendary skipper, Sourav Ganguly’s contributions in the Champions Trophy remain iconic. With three centuries to his name and an average of 73.88, Ganguly’s 141* in the 2000 edition, was a masterclass while chasing under pressure.

The Champions Trophy has consistently celebrated batting brilliance, with players like Chris Gayle and Mahela Jayawardene also shining in this tournament.
