They boast of a humongous fan base and have reached the finals of the IPL 6 times in the 8 seasons they participated. Led by the living legend MS Dhoni, CSK became a brand in the last few years.

Chennai fans travel all the way to Pune

The Cauvery water saga resulted in all the CSK home matches getting shifted from Chennai to Pune. A huge protest coming from the Politicians and the film fraternity of Tamil Nadu resulted in the fans getting disappointed and once again, the debate on “IPL being a soft target” is back on cards.
