Cheteshwar Pujara believes Hardik Pandya can hit sixes sixes in an over

Indian Test batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has backed Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya to hit six sixes in an over. Cheteshwar Pujara believes that Hardik Pandya has the capability to do what Yuvraj Singh did against England in the T20 World Cup in 2007.
Pandya showed hints of his hitting prowess when he hit Imad Wasim of Pakistan for three consecutive sixes in the ICC Champions Trophy final last month. In a recent interview where Pujara held the mike to ask some questions to Pandya, the latter spoke about going for the full monty.
What Hardik to say:
Hardik mentioned that he dispatched 3 maximums of Imad Wasim in the Champions Trophy final in consecutive deliveries but kept himself away from hitting the fourth. The reason behind the same is that the team did not require a fourth six that moment and he needed to keep his wicket. According to Pandya, he focuses more on what the team demands from him at that time than personal milestones. Having said that, Hardik mentioned that he will definitely fancy hitting six sixes in an over if the team requires some time.
“Even in my short career I’ve hit three sixes in three balls but never went for the fourth one because the situation didn’t demand. But someday when I’ll have the situation where I can go all six balls, I might do it,” said the 23-year-old.
Pujara replied to his answer by saying that there is no doubt over the fact that Hardik has the talent in him to hit six sixes in an over. However, Pujara also asked Hardik about how he feels about playing the pull shot and who does it better Hardik or Pujara. Without any hesitation, Hardik Pandya said that Cheteshwar Pujara is a way better puller of the ball than him.
“Definitely you. He (Pujara) pulls it so well that he can easily hit a ball 100 metres easily in any ground,” he said. “I was proud of myself because I know I don’t play the pull shot that well. I’ve not played it till now,” he added.
