Chris Gayle and Darren Sammy unleash their dance moves

The Caribbean lads are well-known not just for their unorthodox, aggressive and unique approach to the game, but for also the entertainment angle in them which makes the fans love them even more. In the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Chris Gayle and Darren Sammy showed off their dance move in a game and the fans loved every bit of it.

St Lucia Stars were up against St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots and the rain gods didn’t let the match progress the way fans would’ve wanted. After just 8 overs of play at Warner Park, the Stars scored 46 runs and there was no play possible after that. The fans were utterly disappointed with the fact that there was no cricket being played, but Gayle and Sammy had other ideas to cheer the crowd up.

Let the “Rain Dance” begin!

We normally see a sombre environment across the ground when rain halts the game, but it was an entirely different scenario at this stadium. Darren Sammy was the one who embarked the rain dance party inside the stadium and in a matter of minutes, the entire stadium was in a party mood with chilled beers in hand.

It didn’t take long for the “Universe Boss” to join the party as he started flaunting his dance moves and he was definitely better than his West Indian teammate. He was spotted in casual trousers with a towel around his neck. When the music began, the big man just couldn’t control himself and wasted no time in catching up to the beat.

Watching the upbeat Caribbean boys going bonkers, commentator Alan Wilkins too joined the party. He was accompanied by the ever exuberant Danny Morrison and though the latter just decided to sit back and enjoy the proceedings, Wilkins enjoying every bit of the calypso beats and his euphoria speaks a lot.

CPL’s official Twitter handler uses the hashtag “Biggest Party Sport” and these players are doing full justice to that sobriquet. There’s a lot of cricket still left in this edition’s CPL and the fans can expect more such fireworks in the time to come.
