Chris Gayle is arguably one of the best hitters in international cricket. The left-hander is a regular face in various T20 leagues across the globe. Now, the ‘Universe Boss’ has announced that he will be heading to play Everest Premier League that will be held in Nepal. The official announcement still needs to come but Gayle gave a nod to the same in his recent tweet.
The 40-year-old West Indies opener played his last international game back in 2019. The chances are quite slim that he will be called back into the national side. Hence, he is currently using his hands in the franchise cricket tournaments. There is no doubt about the fact that at the age of 40, he is still one of the most demanded players in the limited over format. Gayle is currently the leading run-scorer in T20’s across the globe with 13,296 runs with 22 tons and 82 half-centuries.

Later on, Everest Premier League replied in the affirmation saying that Gayle is all set to play in the upcoming season of EPL 2020 for Pokhara Rhinos. They also questioned fans if they are ready for the Gayle Storm. EPL took to their official handle and wrote, “Nepal, the forecast for March is Stormy! @henrygayle has confirmed to play in the @eplt20official for @pokhararhinos!
