In four matches, he churned out 144 runs at an average of 36. His top score of 60 came against the Rajshahi Royals at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on January 15.
Prior to that, he had a rough time in the second edition of the Mzansi Super League (MSL) where he played for the Jozi Stars. Barring a half-century, Gayle failed to make much of an impact. His last match in West Indies colours was back in August 2019 against India at Port of Spain.
