Chris Gayle is known for his notorious nature and his pranks. The big Jamaican, this time, targeted Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad on Twitter. Ahmed Shehzad was recently dropped from the 35 member squad announced by the PCB chief selector for a preparatory camp.
Expressing the shock over his exclusion, various cricketers like Kevin Pietersen and Grant Elliot, showed their disappointment on the social media. Taking a dig on the Pakistani batsman, Chris Gayle had his own way of trolling the right-handed opener.
Ahmed Shehzad asked his fans to ask their questions to him using the hashtag #AskAhamad. Gayle was one of the many people who posted their questions. Gayle asked why he was not picked in the squad. Taking a dig on his selfie obsession, Gayle asked Shehzad whether the latter was too busy taking selfies. He tweeted:
Why not playing for Pakistan? Too much selfie again? ? 🙁 #AskAhamad https://t.co/Mm9LYJZ1cO

Shehzad took the joke in a healthy way and responded back with another selfie. He re-tweeted:

Gayle tweeted again, praising Shehzad this time. But yet again, he didn’t refrain from taking another go at the selfie obsession of Shehzad. He tweeted this time:
Lol. Pakistan missing out! Talented player you r, on and off the field. But let me take a selfie ??? https://t.co/UHbgsC4lRm

Shehzad thanked the West Indian for his concerns and said he has faith in his god and the country’s cricket board.

It was earlier this week when PCB announced the 35 member squad to undergo a training camp for a month before the national side leaves for their tour to England this June. Three big names were missing from the list, Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal and Shahid Afridi. While Afridi’s exclusion was termed as a chance given to youngsters, there was no comment made on Akmal and Shehzad.
