Suresh Raina is referred to as ‘Mr. IPL’ and has been one of the backbones of the Chennai Super Kings over the years. No matter whether he is in the Indian team or not, irrespective of the kind of domestic season he’s had, Raina turns out to be a completely different cricketer when he plays in the IPL.

The left-hander is the first to score 5,000 runs in the tournament and is also quite handy with the ball. It is through his IPL performances that he sealed a spot in the Indian team and was a regular feature across all three formats. Raina has scored 5,368 runs in 189 innings at an average of 33.34 and strike rate of 137.14.

He has got one century and 38 half-centuries in the tournament. The number three batsman is also amongst the highest boundary hitters in the league. However, he pulled out of IPL 2020 tournament and stunned many of his die-hard fans. It has to be seen if he comes back in IPL 2021 or not.
