Come and support the truth, Shami's wife Hasin Jahan requests CM Mamta Banerjee

India’s premier fast bowler Mohammed Shami’s future has been in a limbo ever since his wife has accused the bowler of cheating her. On Tuesday, Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan asked the West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee’s support in her fight against his husband.

The news of the alleged fall-out between the husband-wife came into the light when Jahan took social media platform Facebook where she posted screenshots of chats between a number of girls with who she claimed that his husband was in a relationship. She even alleged that Shami was involved in match-fixing as well as he took money from a Pakistani girl. She also claimed that Shami’s family tried to kill her.

In a press conference, she said that she was fighting for the women community all alone and asked the CM to come out and take the side of truth. “It’s a fight for truth by a helpless woman against a celebrity cricketer who has fame, name, and money. No one is with me and I request the chief minister to come for the support of truth, but not me or Shami,” Jahan said.

No chance of compromise: Jahan

According to Jahan, the point of compromise doesn’t exist anymore as If she bows down, It will be a loss of every woman. “Our fight has reached a stage that there’s no question of a compromise now. I will fight my own battle. If I give up now, it will be the loss of face for the whole women community. And why should I? I’ve all the evidence with me. No chance.” claimed Jahan.

She further alleged her husband of giving her threats over the phone. According to Jahan, Shami on phone asked her to withdraw all the allegations and charges. “Shami called me today saying ‘Aren’t you ashamed of yourself? You have framed me.’ He further asked me to take back all the allegations for the sake of my and my daughter’s lives,” she said.

Jahan also requested the media to stop hounding her by following her everywhere. Notably, she had a fight with a journalist recently. She apologized for the event that happened and asked media to leave her alone.
