2. Matthew Hayden vs Shane Watson

Matthew-Hayden-vs-Shane-Watson

Matthew Hayden: This left-handed tall Australian batsman used to instil fears in the minds of the bowlers from the word go. He featured for Chennai Super Kings while opening the innings and endured his best season in 2009 when he whacked the ball all around the park scoring 572 runs at a jaw-dropping strike-rate of almost 145. More often than not he provided the team with blazing starts in the yellow jersey. He would be in any team only for the impact he makes on the morale of the opposition team on any given day.

Shane Watson: He is one of the best all-rounders ever to have played the game. He has rocked PSL every year while donning the jersey first for Islamabad United and then for Quetta Gladiators. Watson is the fourth highest run-getter of the tournament with 684 runs after 25 games at a strike rate of 130.03. He has made an impact with the bowl as well picking 25 wickets striking every 20 balls. The veteran is a complete package as a cricketer and any captain would love to have him in the team.
