The Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik stunned everybody with his fielding attempt in the ongoing Caribbean T20 League. The Guyana Amazon Warriors locked horns with the Barbados Royals for match 20 of the tournament. Whilst the game, Malik who is representing Guyana Amazon Warriors grabbed a splendid catch near the boundary and caught the attention of many.
Another Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez was bowling the eighth over of the match. Hafeez came around the wicket and bowled the delivery around middle and leg stump to Barbados Royals’ opening batter Johnson Charles. The batter looked to hit a slog sweep towards the deep backward square region. Malik was positioned well in that area and did not make any mistakes.
When Charles hit the ball it appeared that it would easily pass the boundary line. However, Malik made sure that he doesn’t let the ball go beyond the rope. He exuded smart reflexes and completed a jaw-dropping catch. Though he lost his balance a bit, he crossed the boundary rope before coming back in the field just at the exact time to complete the catch. Mohammad Hafeez and Imran Tahir were seen praising Shoaib Malik for his great effort.
