Jason Holder can get the ball to move both ways upfront, can use his tall frame to generate extra bounce off the surface, and is an asset for his side. Holder was the second-highest wicket-taker for the Barbados Royals in the 2020 edition of the CPL.

The right-arm pacer scalped 10 wickets in the previous edition of the tournament and picked them up at an economy rate of less than 7 and a strike rate of just 19.80. Holder is an experienced campaigner in the CPL, has featured in 61 matches in the tournament, and has prized out 49 willow wielders. He is currently the 12th highest wicket-taker in CPL history.

Holder can also score useful runs with the bat as well. The right-handed batsman has scored 687 runs in the CPL and has scored his runs at a strike rate in excess of 135. If Holder can fire with the ball in hand, then he can surely set the CPL on fire and make the lives of the batsmen difficult.
