Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) enters Surat, to expand PAN India
Academy will provide state-of-the art coaching techniques to budding cricketers in Surat.
03rd June 2017, Gujarat – India: The leading Indian cricket academy on Saturday launched its fifth academy of Cricket Academy of Pathans (CAP) along with ace cricketer Mr. Irfan Pathan at a press conference held in Vesu, Surat, Gujarat.
Cricket Academy of Pathans will provide first class coaching to young children of India by involving Australian coaches Mr. Greg Chappell, former coach of the Indian Cricket team and Mr. Cameron Tradell, legendary coach from Australia as mentors for the coaching program.
CAP will invest Rs. 3 crore along with partners for expansion across India in various cities.
With right techniques and guidance from expert coaches, Pathan brothers, Irfan and Yusuf, launched this academy to return their love for the game, “We are thrilled to launch our academy and nurture young pool of talented children with best training and coaching of International standards”, they added.

This academy not only provides coaching to kids to play cricket but also to those who aspire to become coaches to understand technicalities of the game and in return execute their learnt skills on kids.
“It’s very important to identify the strength of a child while playing cricket, at Cricket Academy of Pathans, coaches are well trained to spot strength of a child and formulate a plan to improve child’s game” Irfan Pathan, Director, CAP said.
Cricket Academy of Pathans tied up with UK based Cricket technology partner- PitchVision to track students’ performance in real time via cutting edge technology programs. This technology closes the loop between Pathan brothers, coaches and the students.
Cricket Academy of Pathans aims at opening 15 more new academies in different cities of India by the end of this year. Currently, CAP is functional at four cities Raipur, Port Blair, Noida and Lunawada. CAP is also launching its academies in the state of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh by July 2017.
“The CAP program has set focuses each week with varied outcomes depending on the ability level of the participants. CAP programs are a holistic approach to developing cricketers. The required mental approach, game knowledge and experience, is just as important as the physical skills. The CAP program creates intrinsically motivated players who thrive on competition and who understand there are consequences to actions,” Mr. Harmeet Vasdev, Managing Director, CAP added.
